The Australian Consumer Law (ACL) was introduced as a single national consumer law on 1 January 2011.
The ACCC has released a guide that is designed to help businesses and industry groups learn about the ACL provisions relating to country of origin claims and understand how these provisions operate.
AFRDI is accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) as a public testing service compliant with the general requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Located on the scenic island of Tasmania, AFRDI can conduct testing for products in high risk development categories. Our registered services may attract a tax rebate under the Australian government’s Research and Development support program.
