Between October 2024 and March 2025 there have been at least five (5) recalls in Australia associated with fixed height seating.

Four (4) had structural failures specifically with the legs.

There are relevant Australian and AFRDI Standards dealing with the testing of fixed height seating.

AFRDI recommends that in particular dining chairs, plastic monobloc chairs and public space seating are tested and certified.
